Workouts are easier when someone is waiting.

Check in with a live photo after every workout, keep a shared weekly streak with your pact, and get poked when you skip.

It's not motivation.

It's that nobody notices when you stop. POKE puts your friends in the loop, so skipping isn't so easy.

How it works

Proof, streaks and a friendly poke.

  1. 01

    Make a pact

Start a Duo, a Couple or a Group of up to eight. Set a weekly goal and pick the days you plan to train.

POKE home screen: this week's progress, a Check in button and a pact called Gym Crew with a 6-week streak.
  2. 02

    Check in live

Open the camera after your workout. POKE checks you're somewhere you can train, like a gym, a home setup or outdoors, then gives you a random prompt and 60 seconds to take the photo. No gallery uploads.

Check-in camera: Gym detected, prompt Hold up 3 fingers with 52 seconds left.
  3. 03

    Keep the streak together

Streaks count weeks, not days. Your pact's streak only grows when everyone hits their goal, so nobody gets left behind.

Pact screen: a 6-week shared streak, each member's progress this week and Maya's check-in with the prompt Show your shoes.
  4. 04

    Skip a day? Get poked.

If a planned training day goes by without a check-in, your pact can poke you in the evening. Reply in one tap: On my way, or Rest day.

Lock screen notification: Alex poked you. Your pact is waiting. With On my way and Rest day buttons.

Everything a workout pact needs.

Log every session

About 60 common exercises, sets, reps and weight, plus templates like Push, Pull and Legs that you can make your own.

See what you've trained

A body map shows which muscles you've worked lately and which have been resting, plus your best streak and full history.

Gym, home or outdoors

Every real workout counts. Each check-in is labelled Gym, Home or Outdoors so your pact can see where you trained.

Private by default

Check-in photos are only visible to the people in your pacts, never public. Delete your account and photos any time.

Questions

When can I get POKE?

We're launching on Android first, through Google Play. The iPhone app follows after that. Join the waitlist and we'll email you on launch day.

Who is it for?

Anyone who trains better with someone in their corner: gym buddies, couples, siblings, roommates, a group chat that keeps saying "this time for real". A pact can be two people (a Duo or a Couple) or a Group of three to eight.

Do home and outdoor workouts count?

Yes. When you check in, POKE looks for a workout setting: a gym, a home setup like a mat, weights or a bike, or an active outdoor spot like a track or park. A couch on its own doesn't count.

What if I need a rest day?

Workouts on any day count toward your weekly goal. Your planned days only decide when friends can poke you, and you can answer a poke with "Rest day" in one tap. You can also mute pokes for a pact.

Who can see my photos?

Only the people in the pacts you post a check-in to. Photos are never public. To check you're somewhere you can train, the app sends a few low-resolution camera frames and a small copy of your photo to an AI vision service; the scan frames aren't stored.

Can I delete my account?

Yes, any time, in the app's settings. It deletes your profile, check-ins and photos. How account deletion works.
